Mom… is that you?
Working alongside the executive team at Wellington International has been an extraordinary experience. Much of our work together happens behind the scenes and is often serious, strategic, and deeply focused. However, last night offered something special; a moment to see creativity come to life and to share it with the community that makes this place so remarkable.
It was the night that Welly finally met his “Mom,” the person who first imagined him and helped bring him into the world.
If you have attended the Winter Equestrian Festival on a Saturday evening, you may already have met Welly. He began as a simple concept developed by our team as part of the rebrand of both the Adequan Global Dressage Festival and the Winter Equestrian Festival. From that first idea to the final result, Welly has grown into a character that now lives throughout the showgrounds; greeting guests as a mascot and bringing smiles as a high-quality plush companion.
Creating something that brings genuine joy to people is rare, and being trusted to support "Out of the box" thinking with a determined "Won't take no for an answer" ethic is the ultimate in compatibility.
We are deeply grateful to the entire team at Wellington International for the trust, the collaboration, the learning opportunities and the support to fully express our creativity.
Thank you for giving us the platform to imagine, to build, and to bring to life the ideas that help make this extraordinary place feel even more magical for everyone who visits.
