According to Forbes magazine, high-stress environments have a direct impact on one’s ability to deliver information and absorb information. If we consider the responsibilities associated with taking care of other people’s horses, there is no denying the weight of caring for someone else’s everything. This is especially true when onboarding new staff who aren’t quite sure who’s who and what’s what.
Research has shown that people in high stress situations have difficulty digesting information, and recall is limited. Thus, good crisis planning and effective communication always calls for scenario planning that covers the most unlikely situations with information presented in the proper way.
