What Is Embroidery Digitizing?
A logo file is not an embroidery file.
Embroidery digitizing is the process of translating graphic artwork into instructions an embroidery machine can understand.
It is not simply converting a JPEG, PNG or vector file into another format. A digitizer determines how the design will actually be constructed in thread — including stitch type, direction, density, sequence, underlay, pull compensation, trims and other technical decisions that affect the finished result.
The quality of the digitizing directly affects the quality of the embroidery.
A beautifully designed logo can still embroider poorly when the stitch file has not been engineered for the artwork, garment, material and finished size.
